SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to import a file in Catalog Manager, choosing Yes when you are prompted to overwrite an existing file with the same name causes the Open dialog box to be displayed, instead of overwriting the existing file.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in FoxPro version 2.6a for Windows and FoxPro version 2.6a for MS-DOS.
MORE INFORMATIONYou can can import files of various types into FoxPro by choosing Import from the Data menu of Catalog Manager. If the filename you are trying to import already exists on the system, Catalog Manager displays the error message "<filename> already exists. Overwrite it?" If you choose the Yes button, Catalog Manager displays the Open dialog box again, instead of overwriting the file. To close the Open dialog box, you must choose the No button when the error message prompts you to overwrite the file.
