The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6a

SYMPTOMS

After generating an "Internal Consistency Error," FoxPro exits to Windows and gives a general protection (GP) fault.

This problem occurs when transporting a FoxPro for MS-DOS report if, in the Transporter's Font dialog, you change the default font for the MS-DOS report to anything other than Courier.

RESOLUTION

Do not use the Transporter's Font dialog to change the default font of a report. First transport the report; then change the font in the FoxPro for Windows Report Writer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0 for Windows.
