BUG: Problem with Display Of A Macro

SYMPTOMS

When choosing the edit option in the macro dialog box after creating and saving a macro, the wrong macro is displayed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. From the System menu, choose Macros.

  2. Select New. Then press ALT+G.

  3. Select OK, and choose the save option.

  4. Type JUNK.FKY, and choose save.

  5. The macro ALT_G will be the highlighted one.

  6. Select edit and the macro immediately below it will be displayed instead of the one highlighted.
