BUG: Canceling Wizards w/ Screen Builder Open Causes GP Fault

SYMPTOMS

Canceling a wizard while a screen is open and maximized in the Screen Builder causes a general protection (GP) fault in FoxPro for Windows.

WORKAROUND

If a Wizard must be run while a screen is open in the Screen Builder, ensure that the screen is not maximized.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Create a new screen.

  2. Maximize the screen in the Screen Builder.

  3. Run one of the wizards by selecting it from the Run menu.

  4. Click the Cancel button. At this point, a GP fault occurs.
