PRB: FoxPro for Windows Application .EXE File Does Not Run

SYMPTOMS

If you create a project that has the name VER.EXE, it will not run because it conflicts with the Windows .DLL file named VER.DLL.

CAUSE

It is possible for an .EXE filename to conflict with a DLL filename, and as a result the .DLL will not run.

RESOLUTION

Rename the .EXE file.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
