PRB: Documenting Wizard Generates Error #10

SYMPTOMS

After running through all the steps of the Documenting Wizard, giving the Wizard a place to put all the output reports, the Documenting Wizard generates the following error:

   Error #10 in dofoxdoc (0): Syntax error.

CAUSE

This error is caused by an apostrophe in the hard drive's name, such as "Macintosh's HD."

WORKAROUND

Temporarily rename the hard drive so it does not contain an apostrophe.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this behavior and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
