The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn FoxPro version 2.0, using the PACK command to remove space from a database that has no records marked for deletion places the record pointer at the last record of the database. In FoxPro version 1.02, calling the PACK command for the same database places the record pointer at the first record of the database.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated September 26, 1991.
