FIX: READ Command Does Not Exit When WINDOW Selected

SYMPTOMS

In FoxPro version 2.0, the READ statement in the following code does not exit when you select WINDOW a or b. The READ statement exits under FoxPro version 1.02:

   DEFINE WINDOW a FROM 1,1 TO 5,5
   DEFINE WINDOW b FROM 6,6 TO 10,10
   ACTIVATE WINDOW a
   ACTIVATE WINDOW b
   ACTIVATE SCREEN
   x='     '
   @ 1,10 GET x
   READ

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated November 15, 1991.
