PRB: SHOW GETS Command Causes "Insufficient Stack Space" Error

SYMPTOMS

A SHOW GETS command causes an "Insufficient stack space" error.

CAUSE

The SHOW GETS command is used in a READ-level SHOW code snippet.

RESOLUTION

Remove the SHOW GETS command from the code snippet.

On page D2-48 of the "Developer's Guide," the documentation for the SHOW GETS command incorrectly states the following:

   The SHOW GETS command can be issued in any code snippet in the
   screen.

This statement is incorrect; the SHOW GETS cannot be used with a READ-level SHOW snippet, as indicated above.
