SYMPTOMSIn the Extended (32-bit) version of FoxPro 2.0, a problem occurs if compilation error messages generated during the COMPILE command are redirected to a log file.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in releases of Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated prior to September 26, 1991. This problem was corrected in the Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS release dated September 26, 1991.
MORE INFORMATIONCompilation error messages are saved to a text file if SET LOGERRORS is ON when a program is compiled. Error messages are saved to a text file with the same base name as the compiled program with an extension of .ERR. If SET LOGERRORS is OFF, an error log file is not created.
