FIX: "Data Type Mismatch" Error in Screen Program

SYMPTOMS

In FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS, the error message "Data type mismatch" appears when a screen program generated by the Screen Builder is run.

CAUSE

If an upper range is included on a date field and a lower range has not been included, this error message will be displayed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated March 25, 1992.
