SYMPTOMSIn FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS, under some rare circumstances, the second of two adjacent date fields contains the date from the first date field when the data is imported from an SDF file.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated September 26, 1991.
MORE INFORMATIONThe APPEND FROM command adds records to the end of a database from another file. The optional clause DELIMITED may be used to specify that the file being appended is an ASCII text file in which each record ends with a carriage return and linefeed (CR/LF). Fields are normally separated by commas, and character fields are additionally delimited by double quotation marks. A delimiter can be specified when the DELIMITED WITH <delimiter> clause is included in the APPEND FROM command. An System Data Format (SDF) file is an ASCII text file in which records have a fixed length and end with a CR/LF combination.
