FIX: Misspelled Variable in GENSCRN.PRG

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, version 2.0

SYMPTOMS

A misspelled variable exists in the GENSCRN.PRG program that was

   included in releases prior to the March 25, 1992 release of Microsoft
   FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS.

CAUSE

The PRIVATE declaration in the ANYPICTURE procedure in the GENSCRN.PRG

   program initializes the memory variable m.string which is misspelled as
   m.sctring.

   Microsoft has confirmed that this problem occurs in versions of
   Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated prior to March 25, 1992.

RESOLUTION

This problem was corrected in the release of Microsoft FoxPro

   version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated March 25, 1992.
