  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

SUMMARY

Calling the GETFONT() function in FoxPro for Windows invokes the Font dialog box, from which you can select an installed Windows font.

MORE INFORMATION

The character string returned by GETFONT() varies depending upon whether the OK or the Cancel button is chosen. If OK is chosen, GETFONT() returns the name, size, and style of the font that was selected. If Cancel is chosen, GETFONT() returns a null string. For example:

? GETFONT() && Opens the Font dialog box.

NOTE: FoxPro assumes that the abbreviated GETF() is GETFILE(), not GETFONT(). Thus, ? GETF() invokes the Open File dialog box, not the Font dialog box.
