Startup Switches for FoxPro for Windows

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

There are two startup switches for FoxPro for Windows. These switches are -C and -T. If switches other than these two are used, FoxPro for Windows will ignore them upon startup.

Their usage is as follows:

-C<pathname>\<file>

Specifies where the CONFIG.FPW file is. <Pathname> specifies the directory where the CONFIG.FPW file is located. <File> is the name of the CONFIG.FPW file. If <file> is not included, add the backslash (\) after the <pathname> for FoxPro to look for the existing CONFIG.FPW file.

-T

Suppresses the FoxPro logo that comes up on the initial screen.
