SUMMARYIn a network environment, FoxPro for Windows must first be installed on the server and then set up from individual workstations, as detailed below.
MORE INFORMATIONInstallation on the server is called Administrative Setup (/A). This option decompresses all the FoxPro for Windows and setup files onto a network directory and marks them read-only. To perform an Administrative Setup:
Installation on individual workstations is called Workstation Setup (/N). This option requires a previous Administrative Setup. Workstation Setup sets up a workstation to run a shared network version of FoxPro for Windows by copying FoxPro initialization files, updating some common .DLL files, and creating a program group and program icon on the workstation.
