The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

SUMMARY

Microsoft FoxPro can use three of Microsoft Excel's four automatic macros, which means that macros created in an object linking and embedding (OLE) object can be used to execute automatically in Microsoft Excel.

MORE INFORMATION

The automatic macros in Microsoft Excel are Auto_Open, Auto_Close, Auto_Activate, and Auto_Deactivate. These macros execute when a Microsoft Excel macro sheet is opened, closed, activated, or deactivated, respectively. Except for the Auto_Open macro, these macros will correctly execute from FoxPro OLE objects.
