Using the Control Panel to Change Printer in FoxPro

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

At times you may need to add a new printer driver in Windows in order to correctly print data from FoxPro. Although you cannot do this within the FoxPro programming language, you can access the Windows Control Panel from within FoxPro for Windows in order to add a new printer driver.

The following command will run the Control Panel and allow a printer driver to be added or modified:

   RUN /N CONTROL PRINTERS
