SUMMARY

The band height for the detail, header, or footer lines is not changed automatically when fonts are changed.

To change the height of a band, double-click the button to the left of the band separator and type a new number in the Height box, or drag the band height button (the button to the left of the band separator).

MORE INFORMATION

When you are using the Quick Report, band heights are automatically changed only when the fields are first entered in the detail line if the detail band height required differs from the default band height. Band heights do not change when you are adding only one field, even if it is the first field entered.

Using Page Layout to change the font does not change the fonts of the existing fields and will not change the band heights. It affects only text or fields that are subsequently added.

Band heights also do not change when all the objects in the report are selected (by pressing CTRL+A) and the font is changed by choosing Font from the Objects menu.
