When you are printing a report to a text file using the Windows Generic/Text Only printer driver, the lines in the page header are replicated several times. This is not a malfunction: there are no carriage returns in this long line, causing the text to print over itself on the printer. This is how the generic text printer driver simulates bold print.

To avoid this problem, remove the bold attributes from the report before printing it to a Generic/Text Only printer driver.
