SYMPTOMSWhen you use the Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard to publish a Web, the wizard does not notify you that the following WebBot Components will operate only if the Server Extensions are installed:
CAUSEThese WebBot components require that the FrontPage Server Extensions are installed on the server. The Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard is not designed to detect the presence of these components.
MORE INFORMATIONFrontPage generates client-side and server-side image maps by default. The client-side image maps do not need the FrontPage server extensions to function. NCSA, CERN, and Netscape image maps will continue to work if you use them on both source and destination Webs. If you are using one of these image map types, server-side image maps will function correctly. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
