The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn FrontPage Editor, when you open a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) document in which you have a table that uses the Align attribute, FrontPage Editor removes the Align attribute from the Table tag. Any text or graphics which were positioned based on the Align attribute will now appear below the table.
CAUSEFrontPage Editor does not support the Align attribute on the Table tag.
RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, insert a column on the left or right side of the table, depending on where you want to place the left- or right- aligned text or graphics, and place your text or graphics in a new cell. To insert a column in FrontPage Editor, click "Insert Rows or Columns" on the Table menu.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FrontPage 98 for Windows.
