CAUSEThe FrontPage 97 Personal Web Wizard contains some example Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) that are not owned by Microsoft Corporation.
STATUSMicrosoft is aware of this problem and has registered the following addresses. NOTE: These domain names were registered after the release of Microsoft FrontPage 97.
Http://Example.Microsoft.Com Mailto:Example@Microsoft.comThis problem was corrected in Microsoft FrontPage 98.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you run the FrontPage Personal Web Wizard, FrontPage creates Web content that contains two example URLs which are meant to demonstrate how to create links to other Web sites and to be modified to point to the site you want. Microsoft does not own either of these URLs and therefore does not control the content.
