SYMPTOMSWhen you browse an Active Server Page (ASP), you receive the following error message in the Database Region Wizard:
Database Error: [Microsoft] [OBDC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] The SELECT statement includes a reserved word or an argument name that is misspelled or missing, or the punctuation is incorrect. One or more form fields were empty.NOTE: The error message you receive will vary depending on which ODBC driver you are using.
CAUSEThis error appears if your SQL statement uses a parameter field that is populated by form data, but the form field that generates this data is unpopulated.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, ensure that your form fields have been filled in before the query is submitted. To do this, use form field validation to require that the form field be filled in before it is submitted. forms, validating text box fieldsand then double-click the selected text to go to the "To validate a text box field" topic.
