FP98: Page Banner Remains After Undoing Drag and Drop

SYMPTOMS

When you drag a page banner from the shared border at the top of the page to the body of the page and then click Undo on the Edit menu, the page banner appears in the shared border but a copy of the banner remains in the body.

CAUSE

FrontPage does not refresh the page when you click Undo.

RESOLUTION

After you click Undo, do the following:

  1. Click the page banner in the body section and press CTRL+Z.

  2. Click the page banner in the shared border and press F5 to reload the
page.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
