FP98: Prompted to Save Unchanged Clip Art Image from HTML View

Last reviewed: March 18, 1998
Article ID: Q179626
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FrontPage 98 for Windows

SYMPTOMS

In FrontPage Editor, when you save a page from HTML view, you are prompted to save the clip art image even though the image has not changed since the last time you saved the file.

CAUSE

FrontPage Editor assumes that the version you currently have does not match the version that was previously saved. Therefore, it will prompt you to resave the file.

WORKAROUND

You can work around this behavior in FrontPage Editor by closing and reopening the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the File menu, click Close.

  2. On the File menu, click the name of the file you want to reopen.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
