How to Display File Extensions in Windows CE

To view file extensions in Windows CE, follow these steps:

  1. Double-tap My Handheld PC.

  2. On the View menu, tap Options.

  3. On the View tab, tap the Hide File Extensions check box to clear it.

  4. Tap OK.

NOTE: Unlike Microsoft Windows 95, the Properties command on the File menu does not display the extension for a file.
