The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer version 1.0, 1.1

SYMPTOMS

When you enter values on a Web page and then submit the entries, the values that you entered are missing if you tap the Back button in Pocket Internet Explorer.

CAUSE

The Web page uses HTML <INPUT> tags that allow you to enter information. Unlike Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 3.0 and 3.01, Pocket Internet Explorer does not store information submitted using an HTML <INPUT> tag.

RESOLUTION

You must type the original values again.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Pocket Internet Explorer versions 1.0 and 1.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
