SYMPTOMS

When you select a word in a Pocket Word document by double-tapping it, the space following the selected word is also selected. If you apply the underline format to the selection, the space following the selected word is also underlined.

RESOLUTION

As a workaround, use one of the following methods:

  • After double-tapping a word to select it, press SHIFT+LEFT ARROW to remove the space following the word from the selection, and then apply the underline format to the word.
  • If you have applied the underline format to the word and the space following the word, select the space following the word, and then remove the underline format.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
