Error Message Moving or Deleting Inbox Messages

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to move or delete a message from Inbox, you may receive one of the following error messages:

  • Can't move message.: Can't write message (Storage error 14)
  • Error deleting message.: Can't update message (Storage error 21)

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when there is not enough available storage memory on your Handheld PC (H/PC) to complete the operation.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Tap OK to close the error message.

  2. Tap the Start button, tap Settings, and then double-tap System.

  3. Tap the Memory tab, move the slider to the right to increase available storage memory, and then tap OK.
