SYMPTOMS

If a function in Pocket Excel is exactly 256 characters long, you receive the following error message:

   Error in formula. There may be an incorrect number of arguments, a 
   missing operand or parenthesis, or another syntax error.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you exceed the maximum character length for a cell.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, limit the number of characters in the cell to 255 or less.
