The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to copy a file from your desktop computer to your Handheld PC (H/PC), you receive the following message if a file with the same name already exists:
This folder already contains a read-only file called '<filename>'. Would you like to replace the existing file?If you click Yes, you may receive the following error message:
Cannot copy <filename>: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the file on your H/PC is marked with the Read- Only attribute.
RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior, remove the Read-Only attribute from the file on your H/PC before you attempt to overwrite it. To do so, follow these steps:
