The H/PC security features include:

  • When you connect an H/PC to a desktop computer from a remote location you are required to enter a password. Note that when you connect using a serial port, you are not prompted for a password.
  • You cannot synchronize an H/PC with a desktop computer until you create a partnership between the two computers.
  • You cannot gain access to information on your desktop computer using your H/PC, except for the information you configure for synchronization.
  • You can configure a power-on password on your H/PC.
