PC Card Does Not Work with Windows CE

SYMPTOMS

You may not be able to use your PC Card with Windows CE.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you click No when you are prompted "Do you want to use this PC card on battery power?"

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, use the following steps:

  1. Turn off the Handheld PC (H/PC).

  2. Remove the PC Card, and then turn on the H/PC.

  3. Tap Start, tap Suspend, and then turn off the H/PC.

  4. Insert the PC Card into the H/PC slot.

  5. Turn on the H/PC. If you are not using your H/PC with an AC adapter, tap Yes when you are prompted "Do you want to use this PC card on battery power?"
