Appointments Are Not Scheduled for the Time You Specify

SYMPTOMS

When you schedule an appointment using the Calendar tool, the appointment may be scheduled one hour earlier or later than you specify.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you schedule an appointment during the period between when your geographic area switches to daylight saving time or standard time and 2:00 A.M. Greenwich mean time on the day when the United States switches to daylight saving time or standard time.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

In the areas of the United States that use daylight saving time, you set your clocks to standard time the first Saturday in April and you set your clocks to daylight saving time the last Saturday in October.
