Pocket Outlook May Hang When You Reply to an E-mail Message

SYMPTOMS

When you reply to an e-mail message in Microsoft Pocket Outlook, the Handheld PC (H/PC) may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the e-mail message you reply to contains more than 1,024 characters on the subject line.

RESOLUTION

You must reset the H/PC when this issue occurs. For information about how to reset the H/PC, please consult the H/PC's documentation or manufacturer.

To work around this issue, do not reply to an e-mail message that contains more than 1,024 characters on the subject line. Instead, compose a new e-mail message addressed to the recipient you want.
