Internet News May Not Download All Messages

Microsoft Internet Mail and News version 1.0 for Windows 95

SYMPTOMS

When you connect to some InterNetNews (INN) servers, Internet News may be unable to download some of the messages.

CAUSE

Internet News version 1.0 does not issue the "mode reader" command that is required by some INN servers to retrieve messages.

RESOLUTION

Support for the "mode reader" command is included in the updated version 1.0 of Internet Mail and News.
