  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.02 for Windows NT 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you view the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer there may be no branch indicator arrows to indicate menus for the folders listed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you are using a color scheme with extra large fonts.

RESOLUTION

Change to a color scheme that does not use extra large fonts. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click the Display icon, and then click the Appearance tab.

  3. In the Schemes box, select a scheme that is not extra large, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

When you create a folder in the Favorites menu, the name of the folder appears in the menu with an arrow to indicate another menu. Although the arrow does not appear when you are using a color scheme with extra large fonts, the menu still appears when you select the folder.
