The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you close the Network dialog box, networking files may be copied even though you have not made any changes.
CAUSEThis behavior is caused by two .dll files (Secur32.dll and Svrapi.dll) installed by Personal Web server. The versions of these files include the following:
Personal Web Server
Secur32.dll 25,088 bytes 08/19/960 09:47 AM Svrapi.dll 13,312 bytes 08/28/96 05:14 PMThe correct versions of these files are as follows:
Windows 95
Secur32.dll 25,088 bytes 07/11/95 09:50 AM Svrapi.dll 13,312 bytes 07/11/95 09:50 AM Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 (OSR2)
Secur32.dll 25,088 bytes 08/24/96 11:11 AM Svrapi.dll 13,312 bytes 08/24/96 11:11 AM RESOLUTIONReplace the two .dll files with the original versions included with Windows 95. To do so, use the appropriate method for your version of Windows.
