Enabling JIT Compiler Does Not Result in Increased Performance

SYMPTOMS

After you enable the JIT compiler, there is no change in performance.

CAUSE

There is no JIT compiler for the Alpha or PowerPC, even though the option is included in the user interface.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
