Location Field Does Not Get Passed to Browse Dial

SYMPTOMS

When you add a location for an optional component in the Optional Components dialog box, and if a location is specified and then you click the browse button, the browse dialog shows the following location instead of the location that was specified in the location field:

   D:\Ieak\Iebin\Eng\

D being a compact disk drive or the location of the IEAK compact disk.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit version 3.2a. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
