Last reviewed: September 29, 1997
Article ID: Q154461
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 3.0, 3.01, 3.02 for Windows 95
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 3.0, 3.01, 3.02a for Windows 3.1

SYMPTOMS

When you refresh a Web page containing a table, the page or table may not be properly refreshed. In some cases, you may also receive an error message.

CAUSE

You may experience this behavior when the Web page contains a table that displays data based on variables previously entered in a form. The data from the form is not posted again when the page is refreshed.

RESOLUTION

You can resend the form data by returning to the location that contains the form that supplies the information.

NOTE: Some Web pages have predetermined (default) information for use when no information is posted. When you refresh such a Web page, it may not display the correct data in the table, but does not display an error message.
