SYMPTOMSWhen you are viewing a Web page that uses Server Push animation, the animation may not be displayed. Instead, a blank square may appear.
CAUSEInternet Explorer does not support using Server Push for animations.
RESOLUTIONIn order for the animation to be displayed, the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) document should be changed to use an embedded animation file that uses an .avi or .mpeg format, or to use an animated .gif image. If you are not the owner of the Web page, notify the author.
MORE INFORMATIONServer Push animation refers to running a process on a server to send a continual stream of images to a browser client. This functionality is included with Internet Explorer 2.1 for the Macintosh.
