Printing Microsoft Excel Link Starts Microsoft Excel

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print a Microsoft Excel link in Internet Explorer 4.0, Microsoft Excel starts before the data is sent to the printer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

You can print links to programs using one of the following methods:

  • Right-click the link, and then click Print Target.
  • On the File menu, click Print, click the Print All Linked Documents check box to select it, and then click OK.
