While you are viewing a Web page in Internet Explorer, you can quickly save a shortcut to that Web page on your desktop or in a folder. This article describes how to create a shortcut to the current Web page.

To create a shortcut to the current Web page, drag the System (globe) icon from the left side of the Internet Explorer title bar to your desktop or a folder. When you double-click the Internet shortcut, Internet Explorer starts and loads the Web page the shortcut points to.
