SYMPTOMSWhen you are installing Internet Explorer, your computer may stop responding (hang) after the first reboot.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if CD-QuickShare is installed on the computer. When the Internet Explorer installation program tries to finalize settings after the first reboot, the CD-QuickShare drivers that load from the Config.sys and Autoexec.bat files cause the computer to hang.
RESOLUTIONTo finish installing Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
