ARROW or BACKSPACE Keys Do Not Work in Internet Explorer Help

SYMPTOMS

When you press the ARROW or BACKSPACE keys to navigate within Internet Explorer Help, the Internet Explorer browser window may scroll up or down or left or right, or may return to a previously viewed Web site.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, do not use the ARROW or BACKSPACE keys to navigate within Internet Explorer Help.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
