SUMMARYYou can import Microsoft Fax messages from Microsoft Exchange or Windows Messaging into Outlook Express, but you cannot reply to fax messages in Outlook Express.
MORE INFORMATIONOutlook Express is an upgrade to Internet Mail and News. When you run Outlook Express for the first time, it starts the Outlook Express Setup wizard. The wizard prompts you to import messages. If you do not have Internet Mail and News installed, Outlook Express Setup defaults to importing all messages from Microsoft Exchange or Windows Messaging. Editable faxes are stored as electronic mail messages, and are imported into Outlook Express. However, you cannot reply to editable faxes in Outlook Express. Outlook Express does not support fax functionality. To reply to editable faxes, use Microsoft Exchange or Windows Messaging, or use a fax program that supports Microsoft Exchange functionality and editable faxes.
