This article describes how to remove the Documents command on the Start menu from a computer on which Internet Explorer version 4.0, 4.01, or Windows 98 is installed.

To remove the Documents command on the Start menu, use Registry Editor to add a Dword entry named "NoRecentDocsMenu" (without quotation marks) with a hexadecimal value of 1 to the following key:
