Text Formatting Lost When You Paste Text from Internet Explorer

SYMPTOMS

When you copy text from a text (.txt) file you are viewing in Internet Explorer, and then paste the text into another program, the text formatting may be lost.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, copy the text, paste it into Notepad, copy the text from Notepad, and then paste it into another program. The text formatting should remain the same.
